Copyright & IP Policy

1. Our commitment

Taylor Athletic Wear, Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our customers to do the same. Because we print designs that customers create or upload, every customer confirms they have the right to use what they submit, as explained in our User Agreement.

This page explains how to report a design, image, or product that you believe copies your work, and what happens after you do.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe a design, image, or product on our Site, or an item we printed, infringes a copyright you own, send a written notice to our copyright agent (Section 7). To act on your notice, we need:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • a description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed (or a representative list, if there are several);
  • a description of the material you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it, such as a web address, product name, or order date;
  • your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly making a false claim of infringement may make you liable for damages, so please make sure the material is actually yours before sending a notice.

3. Trademarks, school marks, and likeness

If your concern is a trademark (such as a brand, team name, or logo), a school’s name or mascot, or the use of a person’s name or likeness, send a notice with the same information. Identify the mark or right, show that you own it or represent the owner, and tell us where it appears.

4. What we do when we receive a notice

We review each complete notice promptly. When appropriate, we will:

  • remove or disable access to the material on our Site;
  • hold or cancel related orders that have not yet been printed; and
  • let the customer who submitted the material know that it was removed.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. We may contact you for more information.

5. Counter-notice

If you are a customer and believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our copyright agent. It must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • a description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, mailing address, and phone number; and
  • a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

We may forward your counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they tell us they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.

6. Repeat infringers

We may suspend or close the account of anyone who repeatedly submits material that infringes others’ rights, and we may refuse future orders from them.
